this sprawling paradise valley mid century estate had undergone several dissociated additions over the years and desperately needed some cohesive order restored. spacial planning plays a crucial role in re-design and it was a very specific idea that helped us edge out the competitors on this one: the breezeway. nearly 600 square feet of sun soaked thoroughfare interconnecting the spaces that changed the dialog to possible. much happenstance ensued and without further ado; stanford drive.
architect fred griffins person residence in the in the encanto palmcroft neighborhood is glory of glass and fireplace wedged on a difficult triangular lot. we were tasked with creating a complimentary poolhouse structure which required heavy navigation through historic and variance approvals. punctuating the tip of the lot we added similar windows, big glass and an oversized patio reflecting back to the main home. we also updated the primary home. most notably - the repair and ombre paint theme for the mechanical louvered shutters. we also made a new custom entry door, rebuilt the front gridwork, added a front sitting patio, reconfigured the owners suite among other updates.
